Downtown Fitchburg is experiencing a renaissance of new development and cultural evolution. New businesses are opening and occupying vacant storefronts with uniquely local provisions. Team Better Block partnered with Mass Development and the City of Fitchburg to create an arts and culture strategy that develops a more connected and thriving downtown. As part of this effort, on July 7th, Team Better Block demonstrated a series of interventions in a one day event to provide a vision of how art and culture can transform the built environment.
